Lock Marked “BRIDGWATER 1814” with Eagle over “U.S.” within oval. Barrel marked at breech “P – M” over “RP” / “1814”.

Item Condition: Very good as found condition; stock likely displays original surface featuring dark color and patina. We note that there is a very tight crack traveling from front lockplate screw to forend of trigger guard tang that was repaired a very longtime ago. Tight repaired crack traveling from breech tang towards aft tit of lockplate that was repaired long ago [trivial and tiny chip of wood missing]. The barrel is plumb brown fading to smoky gray; lock is smooth gunmetal gray... mechanics ate tight and smooth.
