The projecting molded lid featuring tapered and molded cleat/pintle hinges [rosehead nail fastened] over a conforming dovetail joined case on slightly-projecting northeastern white pine base. The engraved brass keyhole escutcheon displays engraved owner’s initials: “JAC”.
