This stoneware jug was made by Daniel Goodale in Hartford, Connecticut. It is decorated with an inscribed eagle, an American flag and a Federal shield. Additionally, this is one of the better-known stoneware objects from the Hartford area decorated with an inscribed eagle.

Item Condition: Excellent condition; imperfections that occurred in the manufacturing of this jug in the kiln [pings].
