This nineteenth century stoneware crock was made in the Albany, New York area; the potter’s identity is part of ongoing research and archaeology. One side features an incised bird highlighted with cobalt; the other side is decorated with an incised flower highlighted with cobalt.

Item Condition: Some minor chips to the edge of one handle were restored, chip to the base.
