Probably Norwich, Connecticut Area (New London County), 1750-1770
The shaped crest above a concave arm-rail continuing to out-scrolling grips above column and ring-turned stiles centering solid splats over a square seat frame fitted with a conforming slip-seat, raised on a cabriole front leg with pad foot and turned tapered side and rear legs joined by turned cross stretchers.
