This extremely rare press-ring-mold tool was used by John Burr, (1791-1856), of Hingham, Massachusetts, a well-known and respected cooper.

Item Date: Early 19th century

Measurement: Length: 17.5”; Circular mold portion: Diameter: 8”; Depth: 3.25"

Material: Pine, ash, and maple; paint, rosehead and cut nails.

Item Condition: Excellent. Small amount of lip ware [from use] otherwise about fine including original paint.
