Painted Keeler…a Shallow Hooped Tub, Original Paint

A small, staved tub bound with buttonhole lapped bands. The exterior retains its original green paint, the interior displays original white paint. Interestingly, each stave is joined with a small wooden peg [few missing].

Item Date: Circa 1800

Measurement: Height: 4.75"; Diameter: 13.5"

Material: Northeastern white pine staves and bottom, the bands are ash.

Item Condition: Excellent
