Oil Lantern, Large Station Lamp, Triangular Form, Original Red Paint

Original red painted surface, triangular form raised on three short legs pierced with air-draft apertures. The top front features an ornamental sawtooth edge; central perforated chimney surmounted with lobed and fluted cap and strap handle flanked by two perforated conical-form exhaust vents.

The front consists of a hinged door with conforming colorless pane of glass, interior fitted with two reflector mirrors, a medial platform for supporting a font and two perforated conical form covers over legs that facilitate drafting.

Item Condition: Good overall condition; expected usage wear, scattered trivial denting. Our tinsmith restored the top lip of door the secures the glass; one side of strap handle has been resoldered. The lamp lacks a font.
