This examples This example is lobed, fluted, and pierced and is surmounted with a carved wood pineapple finial that sits within leafy devices. The piece retains its original soft olive-green paint; ribs are gold; dry patina.

Both decorative and functional. Heightening the chimney increased the draw removing unwanted pollutants from the home. These toppers were also indicative of socioeconomic status. Very decorative as a table centerpiece or garden decoration.
