One partially-printed page in presentation format “His Excellency, Levi Lincoln, Governor and Commander in Chief of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to Ezekiel Boney of Hanson; Gentlemen, Greetings, you have been elected on the 4th day July One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Nine, Lieutenant of a Company of Eight Infantry Annexed to the Second Regiment in the First Brigade and Fifth, Division of the Militia of this Commonwealth……..” Lincoln served as the thirteenth governor of Massachusetts and was a founder of the Whig Party Large signature by Levi Lincoln, also signed by Edward Bangs, Secretary of the Commonwealth.
