Late 18th or Early 19th Century Stoneware Jug Likely Made in Manhattan, or HRV

This stoneware jug with a heavily tooled neck is decorated with an incised floral design that is highlighted with cobalt lip. The jug was likely made in Manhattan, otherwise by another nearby potter in the Hudson River region. The shape of the jug and the manner of the inscribed decoration is very similar to stoneware produced by the Crolius family or perhaps David Morgan in New York City.
