Historical Creamware Jug, Transferware & Pink Luster Decorated, Liverpool Type

A scarce Liverpool pitcher featuring an uncommon portrait transfer depicting George Washington, Liberty, and Justice; an American flag and more centered by a border naming 15-states [and stars] …dating the transfer to the mid-1790’s, before Tennessee was admitted as a state in 1796. The other side features a ship named “The True Blooded Yankee” of which there were multiple ships registered with the same name. Under the spout a large pink luster anchor surmounts initials “H-P-S-H.
