The overhanging cleated lid displaying boldly molded edges over a conforming case featuring applied single bead moldings, lidded till, and drawer. The chest is raised on V-shaped geometric cutouts that form the feet; profiles are identical to that which is published in The Furniture Of Historic Deerfield by Dean Fales, Jr., page 173, plate 365. Subtle faux grained surface.

Material: White pine, iron snipe hinges, brass escutcheons and drawer pulls.
Item Condition: Very good… commensurate with age and use, displays very well. The escutcheons are original, drawer pulls are replaced; scattered minor paint loss limited to lid [as depicted].
