Chippendale Reverse Serpentine Four-Drawer Chest, Blocked Ends, Engaged Columns

Overhanging molded rectangular top featuring serpentine front, and blocked ends over a conforming case having inset fluted quarter columns flanking cockbeaded graduated drawers. The case on molded base is raised on robust case-conforming ogee feet. The chest displays rich color. The swelled top-drawer design is related to Eliphalet Chapin shop traditions.
