Ranger Series…one of the oldest designs, 10K gold, and silver, early logo
Bohlin was born in Sweden, he immigrated to the United States where he worked as a cattle rancher in Montana and Wyoming during the first quarter of the 20th century. He then worked for Cecil B. DeMille making elaborate saddles and tack for the movies. As a silversmith he made buckle sets, spurs, and decorative mounts for saddles.
Edward H. Bohlin 1895 to 1980, one of the most famous collectible western style
silversmiths and leatherworker, who first sold goods to American actor and star of
western films Tom Mix. Later he outfitted many of the well-known movie stars and
celebrities circa 1920-1970 including Will Rogers, Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy; the
Lone Ranger, Richard Widmark, and Gene Autry.
