The border features 5 large panels joining smaller panels against a field of peach colored crosshatching; each of the larger cartouches display floral devices centered by scrolled cobalt borders. At the center of the dish, a tulip centered by 5 small blue and green floral devices contained within a cobalt border.
The composition, a popular Dutch design, presents a kaleidoscope of color.
The plate is marked DAR/ 17, made by a Dutch manufactory.
An almost identical plate is in the Netherlands Kunstmuseum Den Haag Museum.

Item Condition: Displays beautifully however, there are imperfections; cracks and hairlines. Worthy of restoration.
