Newport or Southeastern Massachusetts School Joinery
Cherrywood Pembroke Table displaying old, possibly original surface and rectangular top with drop leaves featuring ovolo corners. The apron containing an end drawer [retaining original hardware] is raised on beaded and lambs’ tongue molded legs joined by cross stretcher. Short cleats let into grooves on inside of rails secure the top as was practiced in Newport and Southeaster Massachusetts.
