The iron furniture is engraved and there is raised carving behind the tangs, around the trigger guards and rammer ferrules. The ramrods appear to be original. The octagonal to round barrels retain 95% brilliant blue finish with fancy gold plating in the designs; each barrel has a different gold work pattern.
