Rectangular case displaying finely engraved scrolls, acanthus and flowerhead motifs inset with five writing tablets. The cover is engraved “calendarivm perpetuum”. The top cover features the mobile date aperture and the days of the week in old German script, planetary signs and more against days of the month.
